No tables to pick, no waiter to assign. The counter screen is built for one person taking orders fast.
Everything below is switched on when your outlet is set up as a cafe.
Many small cafes pay GST under the composition scheme. They can't charge GST to customers, and their bill has to say so.
Turn composition on for your outlet and Rasova prints a Bill of Supply with the line the law asks for: "Composition taxable person, not eligible to collect tax on supplies". No GST lines, no wrong totals.
Regular GST cafes get the usual tax invoice with CGST and SGST shown on every bill.
- Rasova needs internet to bill. Keep a phone hotspot as backup. Offline billing is on my list, and it isn't built yet.
- Printing needs a network thermal printer on the same Wi-Fi as the phone running the Rasova app. If you already have one, it'll most likely work. Send me the model and I'll confirm.
- Cafe mode leaves out table service. If you also seat guests and send waiters to tables, the dine-in setup suits you better. Your outlet can be switched over.
Month to month. No annual contract, no setup fee hidden in the small print.
One outlet, unlimited orders, every core feature on this page, AI menu import and WhatsApp support.
Up to three outlets, plus CRM and guest loyalty, reservations, UPI QR payments and priority support.
"Most POS software is built for a forty-table restaurant and then squeezed onto a cafe counter. I did it the other way round. Cafe mode starts at the counter and leaves out everything a cafe doesn't use."
